When I got my Tessy home I started giving it a good look over. All in all in excelent original condition. As I said I knew parts were missing, but the sheet metal was quite good. As I started to clean it up I began to put together a list of what I needed.
At some point the headlight was removed, the carb was missing, throttle slide and cable were missing, tail light lens was gone, rear floor boards and seat. 2 new tires, hand grips and seat rubber. That was it! On a scoot this rare it would be challenging to find these bits (little did I know it would take 3 years!) A very fixable dent in the front fender and a lot of grime. the scoot had 436 original miles on the odometer. I thought I would have it rideable in a few weeks. well I was wrong about that... But it is a scoot that is worth the wait. More to come...
